Valley of Fire Micro Wedding: Alissa + Caleb
Here’s another great wedding at Valley of Fire. Although, I don’t love the term “micro wedding” I think this has been catching on with the onset of Covid-19 restrictions and couples have had to pivot from big traditional celebrations they may have had planned to smaller, more intimate events.
Alissa and Caleb came from Texas to be wed in Vegas before the pandemic, they wanted something intimate and upscale. They reached out to Elopement Las Vegas and fell in love with Valley of Fire. Although they weren’t having a big traditional wedding, Alissa and Caleb did have a handful of guests – their best friends and immediate family, and wanted to have a stress-free time! With the help of Elopement Las Vegas, they were able to achieve that and so much more!
I met up with them before their ceremony at their hotel for some getting ready photos! I absolutely love being a part of the getting ready process. It really is a special moment that needs to be documented! I loved how Alissa incorporated such personal elements, such as matching robes and customized ties. These small touches throughout your wedding day will help make the day that much more memorable and special to you and your family and friends.
Once everyone was dressed and ready, it was time to make our way to Valley of Fire State Park, which is about 45 mins to an hour from the strip. Alissa and Caleb had a first look when we arrived before being married by the groom’s sister. How awesome is that? After the ceremony, the newlyweds opted to celebrate with a champagne toast and cake, followed by a first dance and Mr. & Mrs. and a super sweet father-daughter dance. We ended the day with lots of epic photos of the two of them before they went back to continue the celebrations on the strip!
