Las Vegas Micro Wedding at The Doyle: Megan + Keagan

Well, here I am dusting off the cobwebs to the ol’blog and getting back at it again for 2021! I always try to blog a few times a month and I was doing great even in the middle of the pandemic, but then October wedding season kicked my butt (in the absolute best way!!) I got busy shooting and editing lots of dreamy desert elopements and intimate Las Vegas weddings towards the end of the year – hey, more to blog! We also sold our home and purchase another house for our family in November! I knew it would be hard and stressful, but honestly, I didn’t expect it to be as hard and stressful as it was! We survived the drama of selling & buying and are now in full unpacking, cleaning, and remodeling mode. Now that I’ve caught you up on what’s been going on the past few months, let’s get started with sharing Megan + Keagan’s amazing wedding day! They are so kind, refreshingly genuine, and a lot of fun to be around. I met up with Megan and Keagan at their hotel on the Las Vegas strip for getting ready photos prior to the wedding. This is something that I really believe is important to capture on your wedding day. It helps tell the full story of your day from the beginning, you get some great photos, plus we get to hang out even more 😉

After getting dolled up and toasting with some yummy champagne, it was time to get these two married! We headed to The Doyle, which is one of my favorite Las Vegas indoor wedding venues. The space is modern and large and can really be transformed into anything you can dream of! Megan + Keagan were having an intimate micro wedding, including a gorgeous ceremony and a cake & champagne celebration with their 20+ guests. I was amazed at how intimate & cozy the set up turned out in that large space. It was perfection!

Another reason why The Doyle in downtown Las Vegas is one of my favorite wedding venues is that they have llamas. Like, really adorable llamas that I want to take home with me every time! I mean, just look! Who wouldn’t want these guys as wedding guests 😉
