Red Rock Canyon Las Vegas Destination Wedding: Brooke + Dean

We met Brooke + Dean when they reached out to us for engagement photos. The Pennsylvania couple was coming to Vegas to check out their wedding venue and decided it’d be fun to have engagement photos taken out in the desert for something totally different from their hometown. We had so much fun together and they really loved their photos, so they booked us to photograph their Las Vegas destination wedding scheduled for spring of 2020. Well, I don’t have to tell you what happened next…

Fast forward to the fall of 2020 and these two had rescheduled their wedding day and changed things up a bit. Rather than an indoor wedding at MGM Grand, they opted for an outdoor micro wedding at Red Rock Canyon with my favorite planners, Elopement Las Vegas!

We met up with Brooke and Dean at MGM Grand, where the couple and their guests and family were staying. Jason and I took photos of the couple getting ready separately, and although they didn’t opt for a first look, Brooke did have a sweet “first look” moment with her dad!

The wedding ceremony was held at the Red Rock Canyon, Red Springs Boardwalk, where the team from Elopement Las Vegas was ready to greet them and get these two married, finally! A major highlight of the ceremony was the flower guys! Seriously, such a fun time! After their ceremony, Brooke and Dean had their first dance, cake cutting, and a champagne toast, before getting photos of the newlyweds in the desert scenery.

Brook and Dean love the desert vibe, but they also wanted to add a few photos of the Las Vegas Strip! So, before making our way to their reception, we stopped at The Venetian Las Vegas Resort for some pretty and iconic shots of them on the strip. Rather than have the traditional reception they originally had planned, Brooke and Dean chose to think outside the box and they had their reception at Top Golf, where they were originally going to hold their meet and greet. I mean, how fun is that, right? I love how they adapted to their circumstances and truly made them best of their wedding day!
