Las Vegas Destination Wedding: Janel + Anthony

With Las Vegas reopening at full capacity after over a year, I think we’re all feeling pretty optimistic about the future and that includes planning big weddings again! Yesterday, I posted on our instagram page that I have been missing wedding receptions. Now, don’t get it twisted, small intimate weddings and elopements in the Las Vegas desert will always be some of my favorites. But, I gotta say I’ve missed the big traditional weddings. I miss getting teary-eyed during the father-daughter dance, laughing during the best man’s toast, that nervous energy during getting ready photos, and everything in between!
I’m so excited that we are going to be documenting some amazing weddings + receptions this fall and are already booking for next year! So, if you’re planning your fall 2021 or 2022 wedding, you should reach out soon because dates are filling up!!

Speaking of big weddings, I’m sharing Janel and Anthony’s pre-pandemic wedding day! They’re from California and had family traveling from all over the country, so they settled on Las Vegas as the best spot for their destination wedding. The day turned out amazingly, with the help and coordination from Faith of Faithfully Yours Events! I’d met them and their family and wedding party the day before at their rehearsal luncheon at Tommy Bahama restaurant, so everyone was comfortable and familiar with me the next day. I highly recommend this to all our couples and it always turns out great and makes for some nice memories from your event and helps the wedding day run smoothly!

Janel and Anthony chose the Conference Center of Las Vegas to host their wedding. Not only were they able to have both their ceremony and reception in one venue, the Conference Center of Las Vegas also boasts 48 48 guests rooms exclusively to clients who book the space! Talk about all-in-one! This is especially helpful for destination weddings, since it avoids having to coordinate transportation to and from the venue.

Jason and I showed up early for some fun getting ready shots in their suites right in the venue! Afterwards, it was time for their first look and photos with their wedding party, and what a group it was! We had a blast with them all!! There were lots of special moments throughout their day, but I think having Janel’s mother marry them was one of the highlights for sure!

After the ceremony, it was time to enjoy their reception! There were some heartfelt toasts, a few tears, and lots of laughing and dancing! It was such a perfect evening and we couldn’t be happier we got to share that day with Janel and Anthony!
