Today’s topic is about finding the best time to propose to your love! Although it’s true that most proposals tend to happen around certain holidays & seasons, like Valentine’s Day, Christmas, and New Years, it doesn’t mean that’s the only time proposals can or should happen! Some couples might find it a bit too traditional to propose on a holiday or you want to totally surprise your love and do it at a time they least expect it.

Marriage proposals take place year round! When deciding on a date to propose, there are a few things to consider and you have lots of options. You may want to pop the question on a date that has special meaning to your relationship, such as an anniversary date. You may want to propose during an epic trip, like a vacation to Las Vegas (hint, hint)! Or, you may even plan to propose around special friends or family members might be around, such as while visiting a parent or vice versa.

The most important thing to consider when choosing to propose is what works best for your relationship and what you think your partner would appreciate the most! Keeping their feelings in mind when planning the best time to propose is the most considerate thing you can do. Ask yourself these questions, “Would she like me to propose during a holiday?” “Has she been dropping any hints?” “Would it be best to do it in private or would she prefer to have her loved ones there to witness it?”

Once you decide on when to propose the next step to consider is where exactly to propose! Be on the look out for more on that topic coming to the blog soon!
