Whether you’re a Las Vegas local or not, Vegas is a great city to take engagement photos. I have lots of couples who travel to Las Vegas for their engagement session! Typically, they’re already traveling to check out wedding venue or it’s a place that holds a special meaning to them and they want to incorporate it into their wedding.

Whatever the reason for choosing Las Vegas, you won’t be disappointed! Las Vegas offers a wide variety of locations and backdrops, from famous landmarks and retro vibes to desert landscapes, it has it all!

Downtown Las Vegas

If you’re looking for a mix of retro and urban vibes, this is the place for you! Walking around downtown Vegas, you’ll find homages to old Vegas, along with graffiti murals and hidden gems.

2. Las Vegas Desert

If you drive out of the city center for 30 minutes in just about any direction, you’re bound to end up in the desert! The area outside of Red Rock Canyon has great Joshua Trees and desert brush! Plus, just look at those gorgeous mountains in the background!

3. The Neon Museum

If you’re looking for engagement photos that just scream Vegas, then this is the place for you! The Neon Museum is an organization dedicated to collecting and preserving iconic Las Vegas signs. The North Gallery is a private space that hosts photo shoots and even weddings!

4. Dry Lake Bed

The dry lake bed is a unique location for it’s vast openness and mountain backdrop. I recommend this to couples who aren’t shy in front of the camera and are ready to work it! Plus, you can’t beat those desert sunsets!

5. The Smith Center of Performing Arts

Conveniently located near downtown Las Vegas, this is a great option for those who want a classic space for their engagement photos. The Smith Center has a pretty courtyard, a cool art sculpture, and green spaces all within a small space to easily get lots of options!
