Neon Museum Proposal: Mathew + Jordan

Ya’ll today is actually “National Proposal Day”! I didn’t even know that was a thing and I’m not even sure what it’s about. Like, is it the day to drop hints to your significant other, share your newly acquired bling on instagram, or what? Regardless of my confusion to it’s purpose, I love it!!! If you didn’t already know, not only do I love to photograph beautiful weddings and elopements, but I have a real passion for photographing and helping plan marriage proposals. So when a national holiday for proposals pops up, I am here for it. So, I thought I’d share a super fun proposal I got to document recently and tell you a little bit about their story.

Mathew and Jordan were visiting Las Vegas in December. They actually flew out on Christmas day and we met up the following day for a photos shoot that Matthew told Jordan was part of her Christmas present. These would be the first professional photos they’d gotten together and being an art teacher, Jordan had always wanted to check out the Neon Museum! That in itself was super sweet, but what Jordan didn’t know was that Matthew was going to pop the question! Matthew and I had it all planned out and she was totally surprised and overjoyed! Jordan’s reaction was priceless and of course, she said YES!

After the proposal and the initial shock, we continued with what now was their engagement session and after our allotted time at the Neon Museum, we headed on over to downtown Las Vegas for some more fun photos of the newly engaged couple!

This was literally one of the best days ever! These two were so much fun and I am so happy for them and wish them a lifetime of happiness.

If you are planning to propose or thinking your love should be popping the question soon, I’d love to help out in planning and documenting the best proposal!! Hit me up HERE!
