When a couple asks you to go with them to Jamaica for their wedding you say “Absolutely YES!!!” We’d met Jessica and Wes on their trip to Vegas where we photographed their session at The Neon Museum and Downtown Vegas. They felt like old friends from day 1. You can imagine my excitement when I got a call from Jessica asking if we could go to Jamaica for their destination wedding with their closest friends and family! I was pretty much packing my bags, while replying! lol In all seriousness, though, it’s been amazing to travel for weddings and we absolutely love being a part of something so special as our couple’s destination wedding.
On the day of the wedding, I met up with Jessica and Wes while they were still getting ready in their suite at the gorgeous Sandals Ochi Resort in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. Again, their warmth and sweet personalities really made me feel so welcome and it was like I was their with good friends!
Although it was humid and it was a rainy morning, the rain stopped just in time for them to have their first look and some portraits before heading to the chapel! We couldn’t have been happier for the change of weather!
The resort chapel was breathtaking at the end of the pier and with it’s glass floor aisle and panoramic water views! Not only was the location dreamy, but Jessica’s dad performed their ceremony and it was truly beautiful, full of personal vows, happy tears, and love for days!
After their ceremony, we went into family and group shots before moving into more portraits of the newlyweds. Then, we moved over to their reception overlooking the ocean. Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, Jessica and Wes had the Jamaican destination wedding of their dreams and I couldn’t be more excited to finally share a few of my favorites today on the blog!
