Las Vegas Springs Preserve Wedding | Destiny + Andy

When Destiny agreed to travel from California to Florida with her best friend for a weekend trip, she never imagined she’d meet the man of her dreams. But, as life would have it, she did. Destiny and Andy knew right away that the spark they first felt was something special. It was different and worth pursing. Destiny moved to Florida to be the man of her dreams and soon they were planning their destination wedding in Las Vegas. Las Vegas was the perfect fit for them, since they had family traveling from Southern California and various other parts of the country. After our phone chats and skype meetings, I was super excited to finally meet Destiny and Andy a few days before their wedding. They were even more awesome in person and I knew we would have a great time documenting their big day. On the day of their wedding, we met up at the Hard Rock Hotel where they were getting ready. Destiny was getting the finishing touches to her hair and makeup by the talented ladies of Makeup in the 702 when I arrived. Jason met Andy in his best man’s room where they too were getting into their suits and looking dapper. We did a quick first look outside the hotel before heading over to the beautiful Springs Preserve where the ceremony and garden cocktail reception were taking place.

The Springs Preserve, smack in the middle of Las Vegas, is an oasis in the desert with it’s botanical gardens, pretty trails, and beautifully manicured landscaping. It’s one of our favorite wedding venues and knowing that Faith from Faithfully Yours Weddings & Events was Destiny and Andy’s wedding coordinator, well, I just knew we were in for a treat! I absolutely loved Destiny’s color scheme of navy blue and hues of pinks. The decor, the pretty florals by The Palette Floral Design , and delectable desserts and gorgeous hand-painted cake by Peridot Sweets flowed perfectly with the pretty garden setting.

Destiny and Andy chose to have their closest friends and family with them for their big day. Their ceremony and reception were full of love, laughter, and sweet moments and I think this is exactly how Destiny and Andy wanted it to be.
