Courtney and Devin are a modern Seattle based couple who decided to hop on a plane and come to Las Vegas for the weekend.  This, however, was not going to be your ordinary gambling, buffet eating Vegas trip.  Nope, these two had a purpose. They were not coming to Vegas to catch the latest show on the strip or dance the night away, they came to Vegas to tie the knot.  Courtney and Devin wanted a quite and personal moment to declare their love to each.  There was no fanfare or big party.  Their love was all they needed.  They chose a modern downtown Las Vegas elopement and it was just right for them. Through various emails back and forth, Courtney and I set up a place to meet in downtown Las Vegas after their ceremony to get some epic images from their first day together as Mr. & Mrs.  They were so much fun to chat with and photograph along the streets of downtown Las Vegas.  Being just the two of them there was no toast or cake cutting, but that didn’t mean they couldn’t add their own personal spin to the cake-cutting-feeding-each-other-tradition!  We ended our session with Courtney and Devin sharing a pizza (their favorite food!) and feeding each other the first slice! It was perfection.

I gotta say, this is why we do what we do.  The best thing about being a wedding photographer in Las Vegas is meeting couples from all over the country and all over the world.  We get to photograph weddings big and small, from elaborate events with 200+ guests to elopements with just 2 people.  Everyone has a different vision for their wedding day and we are so lucky to get to be there to document their perfect day.
