Erin + Joe | Spring Mountain Ranch Portrait Session

One of my favorite families to photograph every year decided to gift their good friends, Erin & Joe, a portrait session with us and I couldn’t have been more excited.  Erin contacted me a couple of months ago about scheduling her session over the summer.  We set up a time to chat a bit and go over options and ideas for finding the perfect location for them.  They opted for Spring Mountain Ranch because it was close to them, plus they really love the scenery there with Red Rock Canyon in the background.  I couldn’t agree more, a Spring Mountain Ranch portrait session is sure to have dramatic backdrops and beautiful lighting! We had a great time together.  There was lots of laughing, chatting it up, and just letting Erin and Joe be themselves.  These are the portraits that matter most.  The ones where your real smile shines through, were the love for each other is simply evident, and there is nothing fake about it.  Erin and Joe kept it simple and were just themselves throughout the whole session. Sure, they were a little nervous having a big camera pointed at them, but by keeping it fun and playful, they managed to relax and go with the flow.  We got some great shots of them showing how happy and in love they are still being newlyweds!  They even brought out their 3 fur babies with them and got some “family” photos with them too.  How fun is that!

The truth is, you don’t need a special occasion to get professional photos done with your love.  Take the time to have them done at least every few years.  It’ll be a fun time and you’ll have some great memories of the two of you being together, happy, and in love – just as you are!
